This marks SYNERGEN’s fifth year in a row to be recognized by the Great Place to Work Institute
SYNERGEN Health, an innovator in healthcare revenue cycle management solutions and services, announced that it has been chosen as one of the Best 40 Workplaces in Sri Lanka. The 2020-2021 study represented more than 51,000 employees from 100 organizations across 16 industry sectors and measures employee assessment on issues such as trust, maximizing human potential, values, leadership effectiveness, innovation, and growth. Success in these areas was the dividing line between the best and the rest, particularly in the reliability of management in keeping promises.
“We are honored to once again be selected as one of the best companies to work for in Sri Lanka,” said Surinda Gunawardena, Managing Director, SYNERGEN Health. “With all the challenges businesses faced over the last year due to COVID-19 and economic turndown, it is critical to ensure a strong, safe, stable, and supportive environment for our entire team. We’re proud to be named among the top places to work once again.”
As part of the Great Place to Work program, the Best 40 Workplaces in Sri Lanka are chosen by evaluating an organization’s current workplace culture and employees’ perceptions. The new and enhanced Great Place to Work for All Model includes additions to the fundamental trust-based assessment to distinguish the Best Workplaces from certified Great Workplaces.
Additionally, the Great Place to Work for All Model evaluates organizations from both the employee and managerial perspective to gauge employee perception of the workplace experience, organizational culture, and practices established by management.
“Much of SYNERGEN Health’s success is based on providing a real opportunity for all its employees,” continued Mr. Gunawardena. “In fact, around 85% of the Great Place to Work for all evaluation is based on trust and the ability for employees to reach their full potential as part of their organizations. This is important to us, and we will continue to build on this fundamental principle to ensure our employees are able to grow and thrive in their careers.”
Each organization’s employee experiences are analyzed according to the company’s size, workforce demographics, and industry norms. Organizations are also evaluated according to the employees’ daily experiences regarding innovation, their organizations’ values, and the effectiveness of their leaders to guarantee a path for enrichment and skills training.
“Since 2011, SYNERGEN Health has continued to be a leading pioneer in the technology and data-driven revenue cycle transformation for the U.S. health care industry,” said Sunil Konda, Vice President of Product, SYNERGEN Health. “With our deep domain expertise, we’re able to transform revenue cycle services and automate routine business processes while validating the standard for a ‘Great Workplace.’”
The Great Place to Work Model also considers the quality of interactions intended through people practices established by management and is evaluated using the Culture Audit tool. This Tool gauges the organization’s structure, demographics, philosophy, and core values.
Mr. Konda continued, “It’s a true testament to our staff’s dedicated and innovative efforts to transform our clients’ ideas, increase overall revenue performance and ensure business excellence.”
